Coach Wilson’s Personal Testimony
All through high school I took my classes for granted. When it came time to go to college, I had the talent to play football at the highest level, but not the grades to support it. I became worried. My family and I made a PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens). Isaiah 40:31. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” In the final hour I received a scholarship for a full ride to play football. When I arrived, the football coach stated that he preferred a team mate rather than me. That’s when I realized that prayer was what helped me secure this blessing. I worked hard and was determined to pull my grades up and finished with a 3.0 grade point average. I achieved academic all-conference list in the Mount West Conference. If you believe it you can achieve it. Luke 12:48 “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” Keep praying and having faith, because all things will come to pass. Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”
