Scott Bircher

Relationship Director

Though raised in a local eastern North Carolina church, Scott Bircher did not commit his life to Christ until his senior year at the University of Mount Olive. He was mentored and discipled by a fellow UMO graduate in his last semester, the year was 1995. After committing his way to the Lord and praying for direction, it was clear that music ministry would be his avenue of greatest blessing! After serving as the Senior Class President and finishing his studies in Sports Management, Scott obeyed the call to full-time ministry, traveling/leading gospel music in over 500 tour dates and services all over America.

In 1998 Scott returned to Eastern North Carolina with his wife, Emma. They have been married for 23 years and have two children, Matt, 20, and Maggie, 16. They currently reside in Vanceboro, NC. Scott Bircher has now been in full-time ministry for over 20 years with current roles in Congregational Care and Music departments at Covenant Church, with campuses in Greenville and Washington, NC.

Scott's desire and call is to be intentional in mentoring, discipling and using his gifts to influence those in need, for the glory of God.
